The world’s only true single-handed calf puller. Built tough for safe, one-person calving assistance.

Crafted entirely from heavy-duty stainless steel, the Vink Calf Puller is virtually indestructible and designed to never slip off the cow during delivery. Its unique rump frame locks securely into place, freeing up your hands and allowing you to safely assist difficult births on your own.

Choose Your Model

  • Dairy Model – Equal Traction - Pulls both legs backwards simultaneously with each stroke.

  • Dairy Model – Standard with Tension Meter - Includes an integrated tension meter to visually monitor force and protect against injury.

  • Beef Model – Alternate Traction - Pulls the legs back one-by-one (alternating) to ease larger beef calves through tight birthing canals.

Key Advantages

  • 100% Stainless Steel Construction: Extremely robust, corrosion-resistant, and built for decades of reliable farm use.

  • Non-Slip Rump Frame: Clamps securely to the cow so the puller cannot slip off, even if the animal moves, sits, or lies down.

  • True Single-Handed Operation: Self-supporting frame leaves your hands free to guide the calf or operate the mechanism.

  • 3D Multi-Directional Pull: Pulls downwards toward the udder for normal births, straight out, or upwards for breech/posterior presentations.

Understanding the Traction Types

  • Equal (Standard) Traction: Both hooks move together with every pull of the handle.

  • Alternate Traction: The hooks move one at a time with each stroke. This "wiggles" the calf’s shoulders through the pelvis one side at a time, making it ideal for heavier beef calves or tighter births.

⚠️ Operational Note

To avoid damaging the apparatus, do not move the pole sideways by more than 30 degrees during delivery. Ensure adequate room around the cow prior to use so extreme side angles are unnecessary.
