Fill your DCFS colostrum bag with your freshly collected colostrum, place the bag into Matilda’s waiting water bath and select “Pasteurize”. You can choose to “Feed Now” for immediate needs, or “to Store”. Dairy Tech’s proven pasteurization technology takes it from there and gently heat-treats your colostrum to ensure the greatest pathogen kill with the least amount of damage to the valuable IgGs.
When a calf is being born, pull a DCFS bag of colostrum from your colostrum bank and place it into Matilda’s water bath and select “Warm”. You will be given the choice to warm “from Frozen” or “from Cold”. Choose whichever best describes your colostrum, and let Matilda take care of the rest. The same pasteurization technology that ensures accurate heat-treatment also works to warm your colostrum to the optimum feeding temperature for the calf.
